Breaking: Court Denies Nana Agradaa's Bail After Reappearing Today, Lawyer Speaks Out
Embattled Evangelist Nana Agradaa has faced a setback in her legal battle, as the court denies her bail following her appearance on July 15, 2025 at the Amansaman High Court. Her lawyer had filed for bail for her so she can be released pending the final verdict of her appeal against her 15 year sentencing but that motion for bail has been squashed. This means that, Agradaa would still have to continue serving her full sentence until such time that her appeal is successful. Agradaa is currently a serving convict, and she was taken away by prison officers immediately after the ruling weeks ago. Her lawyer believes that her appeal has a strong chance of success. “The appeal has a strong chance of success due to the flaws that characterised the trial and the bias exhibited by the trial Judge.” - he told the press. He alszo highlighted that the trial judge neglected to account for mitigating factors during sentencing, despite having referenced Ghana’s own Sentencing Guidelines, which could have potentially influenced a more lenient outcome.
