Hon. A-Plus has revealed that President John Dramani Mahama had expressed serious concern about the health of legendary musician Daddy Lumba after seeing him during the Senior Citizens’ Day event on July 1st.

According to A-Plus, the President privately noted that Lumba didn’t look well and made efforts to reach out. “He said, ‘Lumba is not looking too good. I want to take care of him,’” A-Plus shared. Although A-Plus and others tried contacting Lumba, the iconic singer—known for being very private—held back from meeting the President, saying he wanted to prepare himself first. “I contacted him twice. The President also had others reach out, but Lumba wasn’t quite ready,” A-Plus said.

Now following Lumba’s passing, A-Plus believes President Mahama will do everything within his power to give the music legend a befitting farewell. “This is a President who spoke to me on two occasions about helping Lumba.
