Former Deputy Tourism Minister Mark Okraku-Mantey has revealed that Vice President Dr. Bawumia paid double the amount Daddy Lumba requested for a campaign song, but the highlife legend’s poor health prevented the music from being produced.

According to Mark, despite receiving full payment, Lumba couldn’t fulfill the deal—yet Bawumia never complained. “Even Dr. Bawumia gave him more than he asked for, but he never complained,” he said. Daddy Lumba passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 60. Comment below 👇👇
